This event was held in Venice on March 14th-15th organized by IFFD, in collaboration with the Regional Council and the European Local Council of ELISAN Inclusion and Social Action Network. Expert Group Meeting in Malaysia

IFFD organized on February 28th-29th, together with other organizations, an Expert Group Meeting (EGM) in preparation for the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the International Year of the Family in 2024. This meeting, held in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), addressed specifically the topics of migration, urbanization, new technologies, demographic trends and climate change. PHOTO GALLERY  

‘Personal Project’ course in Santa Fe (Mexico)

32 profesionals enrolled in the Personal Project Program and attended the sessions in Santa Fe (CDMX) on March, taking on relevant aspects of their vital project such as professional career, relationships (friends, family, etc.) as well as their own personal growth. This program is a great platform for exploring these aspects of life.  

‘Married love II’ course in LAR Sonora (Mexico)

Around 20 couples attended the ‘Married Love’ course celebrated in LAR Sonora (Mexico) in March. This course is designed for couples looking to enhance or enrich their marital life. Through discussion groups led by the moderators, the course delves into the meaning of marriage, thereby enhancing the relationship between husbands and wives.

The impact of climate anxiety on family formation in europe 

On January 31st, IFFD organized in Brussels an event to solicitate the perspectives of youth about ‘climate Baby Dilemma’. More than 30 young people participated in it reading their statements and discussing their contents at the Liszt Institute - Hungarian Cultural Center Brussels.

IFFD Briefing 2024

The 2024 IFFD Briefing was celebrated on February 7th at the UN Headquarters in New York. The event, a panel discussion on ‘Young families and climate anxiety’ was organized by the Permanent Mission of India to the UN, UNDESA Division for Inclusive Social Development and IFFD.
