The City of Macatuba, Brazil, Signs the Venice Declaration

On May 15, during an event celebrating the International Day of Families, the mayor and other local leaders gathered at the Macatuba City Council to formalize the city’s participation in the Inclusive Cities for Sustainable Families Project by signing the Venice Declaration. The city of Macatuba (population 17,000), located in the central region of the state of São Paulo, is the newest member of a network promoted by IFFD Family Perspective, in collaboration with the Veneto Region, UN DESA, and other partners.
