The Second International Conference on Family Policy was held at the US Senate on 4th December, organized by the Embassy of Hungary, the US Department of Health and Human Services, and the Embassy of Brazil, with the participation of IFFD.
The Signature of the Venice Declaration by the city of Vicenza (Italy) was carried out in Bruselas (November) and representated by the mayor Francesco Rucco. The Veneto Region was represented by the president of the Regional Council, Roberto Ciambetti, and IFFD by Ignacio Socías.

The celebrations of the 30th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights in UNICEF New York started with an event on the civil society perspective, organized by the NGO Committee on UNICEF. It was an event dedicated to hearing the voice of civil society by protecting the child in the first instance.
