12th International Advocacy Workshop (Poland)

More than 450 students and young professionals from 39 countries and diverse cultural and academic backgrounds have attended the past editions of the IFFD International Advocacy Workshop, together with a group of senior observers. This 12th edition was organized on 3 – 5 September 2024 in the University of Warsaw (Poland).

‘PIMOF’course in Guadalajara (Mexico)

Around 25 couples attended the ‘Married Love’ course celebrated in LAR Puebla (Mexico) in April. This course is designed for couples looking to enhance or enrich their marital life. Through discussion groups led by the moderators, the course delves into the meaning of marriage, thereby enhancing the relationship between husbands and wives.

‘Personal Project’ course in Torreón (Mexico)

18 profesionals enrolled in the Personal Project Program and attended the sessions in Torreon (Mexico) in April, taking on relevant aspects of their vital project such as professional career, relationships (friends, family, etc.) as well as their own personal growth. This program is a great platform for exploring these aspects of life.

State of Tlaxcala (Mexico) joins the Venice Declaration

Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros, Governor of the State of Tlaxcala signed the Venice Declaration to promote public policies for the benefit of Tlaxcaltecan families. IFFD was represented by José Alejandro Vázquez Alarcón, Director of IFFD and Ignacio Socias, Advocacy Talent Adquisition of IFFD. Tlaxcala is the third state in Mexico to join this global call.

Summer activity for families in Segovia (Spain)

On August 2-9th, 37 families enrolled in a camp for families, a program of IFFD Spain that combines holidays with training for parents. Organized in Segovia, there was a great atmosphere and everyone loved spending time with their families in such a beautiful environment, as well as having the opportunity to get to know other families.

30th anniversary of the International Year of the Family

On May 15th, IFFD participated through several contributions in the official observance of the International Day of Families at the United Nations to celebrate its thirtieth anniversary.
