On May 22–23, IFFD President Olivier Yao participated in a panel discussion on the challenges families face in the digital age at the International Family Forum in Istanbul, a high-level conference on family issues organized by the Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Services. He emphasized the need to shift from reactive to proactive policies, advocated for the digital inclusion of parents, and highlighted the role of families as nurturing grounds for values, not merely consumers of digital content. IFFD also hosted an interactive booth, managed by our representative Timothy O’Neill, which engaged attendees and promoted our mission to strengthen family-oriented policies and empower young advocates.
