University of families seminar in Lithuania

Seimu Universitetas, IFFD’s coordinator in Lithuania, held a seminar for parents in Vilnius on November 25th. The event included a lecture by Leticia Rodríguez, IFFD’s Family Enrichment Director, titled “Temperament”. Local experts such as Vilius Bernatonis (with his lecture on family and marriage) also participated in the event, along with 75 others from all over Lithuania.

Workshop for families in Dubai

Under the title ‘Building your children’s character: growing in virtues’, a work session was held (November 17) to promote IFFD programs for families in Dubai. The session was conducted by Zeina Trad Barakat, a IFFD moderator based in Lebanon who traveled November 17 to Dubai for the occasion.

LEAP for young professionals in the Philippines

Training in Alberta, Canada

Expanding the team of moderators in Chile

Last September a training was held at the ESE Business School for new Family Enrichment moderators. More than 80 people attended, many of which will join the team of moderators in an attempt to meet the increasing demand of IFFD programs.

Family Week in Trento

The 7th edition of the Family Festival took place in Trento from 3 to 9 December, under the topic of ‘Quality of life and competitiveness of the territory: an international perspective’. The inaugural event counted with the regional president, experts from OEDC, the director of International Relations of IFFD, Ignacio Socias, and other stakeholders as speakers.

Celebrating First Steps in Israel

Participants in a First Steps Program pilot in Israel celebrated the end of the course by getting together in a family environment and enjoying a cake baked by one of the participants. The program ended in late September and was promoted by a Family Enrichment team.

LIFE in New York

As every year, at the beginning of Autumn a training session for IFFD Programs’ coordinators was held in the New York region. The LIFE event (Leadership Initiative for Family Enrichment) was held at IESE’s NY headquarters with 40 people attending, including 6 participants from the city of Buffalo, where recently a Marital Love 1 Program was launched.
