SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) & Families

The purpose of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) & Families project, promoted by IFFD and sponsored by Caixabank, was to help policymakers understand the role of stable families in supporting societies and how societies can support strong families, as well as provide support in assessing how public policy decisions can directly and indirectly affect family and child well-being. The study was carried out between November 2016 and May 2018, with the goal of providing policymakers with evidence and recommendations on how to meet the ambitious goals of the SDGs with family impact lens through policies for and affecting families. To this end, highly qualified experts from Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania, and America were brought together to develop pragmatic processes and procedures.
